As a home care agency owner, you came into this industry to ensure that older adults and their families receive the very best in care. When Madhuri and I created CareAcademy, we saw that there was a lot missing in caregiver education. At CareAcademy, we sought to fill the void with fresh, relevant classes to engage learners, a dynamic platform that personalizes learning, and the extra set of hands home care agencies need to increase productivity. So, we started CareAcademy in 2016 with a simple idea: to empower caregivers to learn how to deliver the best care to older adults with the support, guidance, and compassion needed to improve their quality of life. We would then make it easy for caregivers to “upskill” and continue their education over time so they could better serve clients as needs changed and advance their careers The result is a better caregiver, a better home care agency and a better way to care. Today CareAcademy provides home care agencies with a best in class online education platform that delivers engaging video-based classes and real world scenarios that walk through aspects of the caregiver experience. Best of all, we provide the extra set of hands to help manage caregiver training so you can acquire and retain the talent you need to grow your business. Our mission is to help agencies and caregivers provide excellent care. We are proud to work with thousands of agencies, franchisors and caregivers nationwide to accomplish this goal everyday. Helen Adeosun, EdM

CEO

Helen is passionate about caregiving and the impact that the right caregiver can have on families. As an educator and workplace trainer, she has had a career in driving outcomes for adult learners and finding meaningful ways for them to engage in learning.

She has worked with Teach for America, Boston Public Schools, and Pearson Education as well as a number of companies focused on caregiving issues. Care Academy was born out of her own first hand knowledge and experience as a caregiver and she hopes that Care Academy is a place to continuously learn and share. She holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in Politics and Arabic Studies , an EdM. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Education Policy and Management.

In addition to over twenty years experience in developing online training for business, non-profits, and professional associations, Mindy has been a librarian, writer, salesperson, web designer, social media consultant, and business owner. The common thread tying these together is Mindy’s interest in using technology to connect people with the information they need when they need it. She holds a B.A. and an M.A. in History from Northwestern University and an M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois.
