CareAcademy, the home care industry’s first mobile-friendly caregiver training platform, is set to be used at Touching Hearts at Home locations beginning in 2019.
CareAcademy’s online training helps home care agencies meet clients’ needs and state training compliance.
“As we continue to grow, it’s important to have our franchise owners reach caregivers as effectively as possible,” says Renae Peterson, CEO & Founder of Touching Hearts at Home. “We have thousands of caregivers at more than 60 locations across the country. CareAcademy helps us provide a high level of training and care to our clients.”
With CareAcademy, caregivers can learn new skills and grow professionally anytime and anywhere. Classes can be taken on laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
“We provide person centered, compassionate care for older adults and people with disabilities. We know that well-trained caregivers are the heart of our success,” said Peterson of Touching Hearts at Home. “Our training program takes nothing for granted. We teach all caregivers the fundamentals of home care. With CareAcademy, client-specific training is delivered to caregivers immediately. The value of that experience for the caregiver directly impacts the client's quality-of-life.”
“We're so excited to be working with Touching Hearts at Home because of their empathetic approach to caregiving,” said CareAcademy CEO and Co-Founder Helen Adeosun. “We know that our training can make a difference from day one.”
