Kevin Smith is CEO of home care agency Best of Care Inc. that serves most of Massachusetts. In 2007 Kevin joined his father Stephen Steven Smith, who founded Best of Care in 1981. After learning every aspect of the family’s business – hiring, scheduling, billing, payroll, and supervision –in 2011, Kevin became Vice President, and in 2019, he became CEO.
Stacey Harvey
Co-Owner/Director Of Client Services, FirstLight Home Care of Warrenton
Stacey is the founder of FirstLight Home Care of Warrenton, the company is dedicated to helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Harvey is actively involved in the community. Stacey is Co-Chair of Fauquier County Triad and a Dementia Champion. FirstLight Home Care also has a contract with the Veterans Administration to provide home health aide services to veterans in the area. The company has received numerous awards, including Best of Fauquier in 2020 and 2021, and the 2024 Reader's Choice Award for home care. They were also nominated for Business of the Year in 2024 by the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce.

I began my career as a caregiver and personally experienced “pulling a double.” This gave me firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities for senior care. I went on to scale some of the industry’s most impactful companies—helping grow IPCed and OnCourse Learnings’ post-acute care division to $10M+ ARR (acquired later by Relias). And, helped drive CareAcademy’s revenue into millions as SVP of Sales and Business Development. Now, as a co-founder of Augusta, I am tackling one of the biggest challenges in home care: caregiver recruitment.
