Heather Burns brings over two decades of expertise in senior living, specializing in resident engagement, activity coordination, and innovative program development. For her, this career is more than just a profession—it’s a calling. She is dedicated to creating a true home where every person feels a sense of belonging and purpose, ensuring that residents, staff, and families alike feel deeply connected and cared for. Heather began her career in Texas, laying the foundation for her extensive experience in senior living. She has held her administrator’s license in both Oklahoma and Alabama, further demonstrating her dedication and knowledge in the senior living industry. She has directed programs serving more than 300 residents across independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Heather led a dedicated team in creating dynamic initiatives tailored to meet residents’ cognitive, social, physical, and spiritual needs. Additionally, she supervised specialized memory care programs for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. She is also experienced in developing and delivering employee orientation programs and providing specialized dementia training, equipping staff with the tools to deliver compassionate and effective care. Her background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations from West Texas A&M University, as well as additional education in animal and life sciences, enriching her holistic approach to program development and resident care. Her ability to design transformative programs has consistently enhanced the quality of life for residents.
