Meet Tanner Hall, an Account Executive at CareAcademy whose passion for simplifying training for care staff drew him to the team. Tanner's day-to-day involves connecting with prospective customers, leading presentations, and collaborating with various teams across the company. Q: What inspired you to join the team here?
Tanner: I really liked how simple CareAcademy makes training. I was drawn to the automation and pre-defined curricula that would make life easier for administrators to deliver on their mission of helping seniors.
Q: What does a day in the life of an Account Executive look like?
Tanner: My role consists of: following up on inbound leads, prospecting into new organizations that would benefit from working with CareAcademy, leading presentations with prospective customers, and strategizing and collaborating cross-functionally, to guide the buyer through the purchase process.
Q: What is it like being a part of the sales team?
Tanner: Being part of the sales team is great! We get to talk with prospective customers all day. We have the privilege of working with most teams across the company. Everyone brings a unique perspective and supports one another. Our Sales Director sets the tone with moments of gratitude in each meeting. We have a few team members who have been working with CareAcademy for a long time and are always willing to go the extra mile. We have a team of rockstars! The marketing team works hard to provide us with leads to work and our rev ops team has been working on ways to improve efficiency. The compliance, content, and product teams are great about answering questions and providing us with a great product. The customer success team is quick to care for our customers as they come on board. Helen, our CEO & Founder, and the rest of the executive leadership team are always asking what they can do to help. I feel very supported and grateful to be part of the sales team.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Tanner: I have little kids, so most of my time is spent with them. My wife plans tons of fun activities for us to do together, and they’re still at ages where they want to spend time with mom and dad. Outside of family activities, I like going to sporting events and concerts. I enjoy snowboarding and golf (even though I am terrible). We always have some sort of a home improvement project going. We’ve redone pretty much every aspect of the house. I’ll be putting the finishing touches on a new office in the next few days.
Q: What’s a fun fact about you?
Tanner: I’m a big coasterhead. The crazier the roller coaster the better. I even went to Six Flags as part of my honeymoon.
Q: What is the CareAcademy value that most resonates with you?
Tanner: The CareAcademy value that resonates with me the most is adaptive. It’s important to be adaptive in any role. The only constant is change. We have opportunities to learn and grow from the changes when we are adaptable. We’ll either find a great new process or learn what doesn’t work. Either way, you are closer to a solution.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working here?
Tanner: The best part of any job is the people. I get to work with some great coworkers and meet new customers every day.
