  • Home Health Aides (HHAs) – 120 hours
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs) – 120 hours

  • In-home Service Workers – 8 hours
  • Home Care Supervisors  – 24 hours

  • Home Health Aides (HHAs) – 12 hours
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs) – no annual training requirement

Caregivers can get the following training through CareAcademy

  • Sexual Harassment training is needed for all staff in specific topics within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter which CareAcademy offers.
  • Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia training is needed for applicable staff and administrators upon hire and annually thereafter which CareAcademy offers. 
  • In-home Service Workers need at least 8 hours initially and annually thereafter which CareAcademy offers. 
  • Home Care Supervisors need to complete a department-approved certifiaction program and 24 hours annually thereafter. CareAcademy offers annual training solutions for Home Care Supervisors.
  • Home Care Aides (HCAs) need 24 hours initially and 12 hours annually thereafter which CareAcademy offers. 
  • Home Health Aides (HHAs) need 120 hours of certification training and 12 hours annually thereafter. CareAcademy offers annual training for HHAs.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs) need 120 hours of certification training and are not required to take annual training. CareAcademy recommends CNAs take 12 hours annually for best practices which CareAcademy offers.
