CareAcademy can provide supplemental training in these areas but cannot provide certification renewals for CPR or First Aid.

What do you need to know about caregiver training requirements?
In Alaska, Personal Care Assistants and Direct Service Workers are required to complete topic-specific training with a competency evaluation before independently providing services. Annual training is required for upskilling, but certification renewals for CPR and First Aid must be handled separately by an approved instructor, such as those from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
