As we begin a new year, I want to take a moment to look back on the progress we’ve made toward our mission in 2023. With your support and shared commitment, we’ve taken steps to accelerate the world’s transition to a caregiver-centric healthcare system by elevating caregivers and enabling excellent health outcomes.
Caregivers are at the center of everything we do at CareAcademy. As I reflect on the past year, most of all, I want to express my gratitude to caregivers everywhere and all of our customers. You are out there doing the critical work that makes all other work possible.
As we embrace the spirit of gratitude, I am thrilled to highlight some of the key milestones and achievements that have shaped our path in 2023:
Expanding Impact: We reached many new milestones, including training more than 500,000 learners and expanding our reach to the senior and assisted living industries. We also completed our first strategic acquisition of assets from NextStep, a learning platform for certified nursing assistants, expanding our ability to serve a broader healthcare ecosystem.
Growth and Innovation: Throughout the year, we've expanded our offerings and innovated our platform to better serve you. This includes new content like Nursing Clinical Skills, CareAcademy PowerPacks, our Spanish user experience, and certifications like Caregiver Burnout Prevention, all aimed at enhancing your staff's training experience. Moreover, our updated Caregiver Dashboard, CareAcademy Insights, and integrations with back-office technology like Spectrum TeleTrack ensure a more streamlined and efficient operational experience for both learners and administrators.
CareAcademy in the News: We are immensely proud to have received accolades and recognition for our contributions to the healthcare education industry, including coverage by CNBC, Inc., and commentary by Melinda French Gates in Fortune, inclusion on the Inc. 5000 and Inc. Regionals, and finalist placement in the 2023 EdTech Cool Tool Awards. I am incredibly honored to be named among Goldman Sachs’ Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs of 2023 and Rock Health’s Top 50 in Digital Health. These acknowledgments serve as a testament to our commitment to our mission.
As we celebrate these achievements, I want to acknowledge the incredible dedication of our team members. Their passion, resilience, and commitment have been instrumental in driving our company and our mission forward.
Looking ahead to 2024, we both recognize the critical and complex challenges in healthcare, and stand at the brink of opportunity to realize an equitable and accessible healthcare future by empowering caregivers of all kinds with information and support. We are excited to continue our journey with you, exploring new horizons, and making an even greater impact on the lives of those we serve.
