CareAcademy Honored by Goldman Sachs for Entrepreneurship

Helen Adeosun, Founder and CEO, Among the Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs at 2023 Builders and Innovators Summit

Boston, MA, October 18, 2023 - Today, Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) is recognizing CareAcademy Founder and CEO Helen Adeosun as one of the Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs of 2023 at its Builders and Innovators Summit in Healdsburg, California.

Goldman Sachs selected Adeosun from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event. With a track record driving outcomes for adult learners, Adeosun has been instrumental in integrating innovative education strategies with the unique needs of the caregiver community.

“We’re educating and upskilling direct care workers because we believe deeply in our mission—that caregivers must be at the center of healthcare in home and community,” said Adeosun. “By moving toward a caregiver-centric model, we can create a more equitable and accessible healthcare ecosystem to meet the diverse needs of families and patients across the country.”

CareAcademy, the proprietary learning platform launched by Adeosun, is designed specifically for the direct care workers, who represent the fastest growing segment in the healthcare workforce. The platform, recognized for its outstanding 93% completion rate, has had a significant impact, with 600,000 learners having completed over 2 million classes to date.

“We’re delighted to recognize Helen Adeosun as one of the most exceptional entrepreneurs of 2023,” said David Solomon, Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs. “Like everyone in this year’s class, Helen has been a visionary in her field, pushing forward innovation and redefining markets. We are excited to harness Goldman’s convening power to bring together these dynamic leaders and hear their insights.”

In addition to honoring the most exceptional entrepreneurs, the Summit consists of general sessions and clinics led by seasoned entrepreneurs, academics and business leaders as well as resident scholars.
